Sunday in the Garden

It's 11:25am on Wednesday morning and I am trying to complete some of my many mini projects before going into work. One mini project is writing a letter to my 13 year old cousin, Maryann, who is at a camp in Connecticut. I remember opening up my mailbox at camp and finding personal mail from my parents or sister. It makes one's day that's for sure!

Sunday, my sister and I went up to the New York Botanical Garden to view the Dale Chihuly exhibit. It was amazing! She had gone up the day before with a friend of hers and had actually paid the $20.00 to see the exhibit HOWEVER they don't check your tickets so if you do go, pay the $6.00 admission fee, and you can see both the gardens and the Chihulys!

KM sat outside while I spent almost 2 hours in the Conservatory. She knew that I would want to take a photo of everything in sight and boy did I!

We had perfect summer weather - not all bright sunshine but just enough to get some color - and just enough of a breeze to keep us cool. I've widdled down the 250 digital photographs of the Chihulys and of flowers to my ultra favorites:
